The African Institute of Academic Research and Practice (AIARAP) is a clearing house of academic research and practices in Africa. We disseminate academic research publications and innovative practices in the African region. AIARAP offers a broad range of editing and publishing services designed to meet the needs of different authors and researcher. Proofreading & Rewriting Services

Proofreading

• Proofreading eliminates language errors and errors in punctuation, grammar, spelling, format, and style.
• Manuscripts written in English and those at the final submission stage are subjected to a round of academic proofreading for a complete and accurate language check according to the principles of academic writing.

Our copyediting and line editing services include:

• Editing for grammar, usage, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style; checking for consistency of mechanics and for internal consistency of facts; inserting headings; editing tables for content and format; and inserting (or marking the location of) art, tables, figures, and lists.
• Substantive Editing (aka Developmental Editing, Structural Editing)
• Clarifying or reorganizing a manuscript for content and structure, clarifying meaning, eliminating jargon, and other nontechnical editing.
• May include some rewriting and reorganization of text. Does not include research, writing original material, checking or correcting reading level, or creating/recasting tables and figures, unless specified.

Rewriting

• Rewriting may include better organizing contents, creating proper transitions between paragraphs and sections, and using research and content supplied by the client.
• Does not include research or writing original material, unless specified.
• These terms and definitions are often subjective. Each editor you query will provide you with a suggested scope of service and definition of terms.

Organization of Conferences and Training Workshops

We organize international conferences on various topical issues and arrange logistics for international conferences on request. We provide rapporteuring and translations services for conferences. We also train in leadership, change management and organizational development.

This workshop helps develop your ability to write a solid scholarly paragraph with synthesis of research. It covers key topics such as basics of academic research, extraction of key points, paraphrasing of research materials, planning of paragraph content, and writing a synthesis under scholarly guidelines. It also offers key terms that should never be used in scholarly writing.
 

Register Scholarly Writing - Article Construction: $300.00 USD Investment
This workshop focuses on enhancing your ability to effectively plan and write a scholarly article from current research. The workshop includes basics pf creating an effective outline that guides your writing and fluid flow between paragraphs to make a powerful point. It also offers key phrases that should not be used in scholarly articles.
